In weighing applications accuracy is vital, so a smooth rotating idler roll is a key component in any weigh scale system. At PPI, the tube of each scale quality idler is manufactured to ensure TIR (Total Indicator Runout) is within .015”. After the manufacturing process is complete each roll is measured confirming tolerances have been met and then the roll is clearly marked scale quality.
