PPI’s field application engineers work with our customers and provide service before, during and after the sale. Application engineers are strategically located across the United States, Canada and Latin America to support your conveyor component needs and/or application problems quickly and efficiently.
Our survey process includes an initial site survey to gather information before conducting a physical survey of all the conveyors on-site. Once on location, the application engineer will do a number of measurements and survey all motors, reducers, backstops and idlers. They will also take a look at the conveyor length, lift, belt specifics, pulley layout, drive arrangement, etc. PPI’s application engineers will then identify inadequate or under-designed components and develop a plan to standardize and solve any problems. From there, they can suggest new products, problem-solvers and maintenance-friendly products.
