On January 1st, 2019 Leslie Johnston was named Vice President of Human Resources for Precision, Inc., (Precision) the parent company of Precision Pulley and Idler (PPI) and Precision Food Innovations (PFI).
Leslie has played several leadership roles in her professional journey and joined Precision after 15 years with Pella Corporation (Pella Corp). At Pella Corp, she served as Human Resource Manager for one of their manufacturing facilities in Sioux Center, Iowa and came back to her native Pella, Iowa to start and lead the strategic direction for the first HR Service Center. Her final role at Pella was the Corporate Talent Acquisition Manager.
Leslie joined the Precision team in February of 2017 as Corporate HR Manager was promoted to Director of HR in June of the same year.

Precision Pulley and Idler (PPI) announces the addition of a new manufacturing facility located in Maysville, Kentucky. The new plant will produce products for the fast-growing Unit Handling (i.e. baggage and package handling) segment, and will be in addition to and supplement our facilities in Corning, Iowa. The new 105,000 sq. ft. facility is strategically located near many of PPI's Unit Handling customers. Our goal is to be operational out of the new facility by September of 2019.
The actual closing on the facility will happen in January. At that time activity will commence on this project.

Precision, Inc., (Precision), announced that effective January 15th, Matt Buckingham has been named the new Vice President of Manufacturing for Precision, Pulley and Idler (PPI).
Matt has most recently been President of the Firearms Division for Smith & Wesson Corp. in Springfield, Massachusetts. Matt was responsible for the overall performance of five major brands. Prior to joining Smith & Wesson, Matt was with Brownells, Inc. (Brownells) located in Grinnell, Iowa. He joined Brownells in 2004 and served as its President. Early in his career, he held a variety of increasingly responsible management roles with a demonstrated track record of delivering organic and inorganic growth while also proving his ability to build strong teams.

Precision, Inc. (Precision) is pleased to announce the acquisition of Meyer Industries Inc.(Meyer) located in San Antonio, Texas as of June 1, 2017. Meyer is a leading manufacturer of conveyor systems and equipment for the food processing industry.
The company has earned a reputation for the ability to provide customized solutions to its customers including high quality vibratory and bucket elevator systems as well as hopper-feeders and bulk box filling. Meyer also provides food processing equipment including mix-blend systems, hydrostatic steam blanchers, hydrochillers and washers.
Roger A. Brown, President / CEO of Precision noted, “The acquisition of Meyer adds additional products and markets to our food industry sales and will complement our product offerings from our Kofab operation. With the addition of Meyer, we now have two prominent brand names in the industry and have a tremendous base to grow this segment of our business.”
Along with this acquisition, Precision has established a Food Division. As of June 1, Greg Stravers has been promoted to Senior Vice President of the Food Division and will lead this group. Mr. Stravers will be responsible for the operations of all companies within the Division and will report directly to Mr. Brown.

With this acquisition, Precision is poised to grow significantly and be a major manufacturing presence in the food processing industry” said Mr. Stravers.
